today is rock bottom. gets no worse than losing at home to the worst team ever...by double digits....this team is done. mentally and physically. the western trip was a mirage. this is the same team that it was before the all star break.

nothing has changed and nothing will. i will be thankful when we don't have to watch this anymore. clean house. all the way around

So the return of Pierce will mean nothing?

yes...it will mean nothing. this team is finished. doesn't matter who they gimp out there anymore. they are done.

I'm not ready to make that call by any means.  Not in late-February.  No way.

and that is your right. but they are a broken team in every aspect and have no signs of figuring it out. this team is an embarrassment right now

When one team tries (NJ) and the other team does not try (Boston), the team that tries goes to the line a lot more than the team that stands around and does nothing. This team is a travesty.

  • Rondo = Good
Also, forgive me for being ignorant, but KG's 9 for 13 from the field for 20 points and 7 rebounds. Is he really the problem?

I have no idea what "the problem" is anymore.  I just don't know.  No explanation seems good enough.

Right.  If this TEAM is as good as it thinks it is, and wants us to think it is, we should be able to start the 2nd unit and still win against what is supposed to be one of the worst teams in NBA history.

serious question since i didn't subscribe to the league package because i basically share the jerry west syndrome - when did the booing start during this game and how bad has it been ? (booing isn't always a sign of disloyalty - solid marriages have fights - and there definitely exists a marriage between the Celtics and their fans.)

How is that a foul on Rondo? Are we not allowed to try and rebound the ball? A 3 to 1 free throw edge for the Nets? Somebody up there doesn't like us.

Can't wait for the creativity of the excuses if the Celts lose this one.

Boston has done nothing inside, has jacked up outside shots the whole game, and when you don't make an effort you commit fouls and don't get fouls called. Refs are calling this game right.

The New Jersey Nets are a better team than the Boston Celtics right now, today, in this game.

Say it.  Say that out loud to yourself and listen to how ridiculous it sounds.  Then consider that it's true.

I just saw the box-score for the first time all game, I've been really busy all day. Unless someone tells me Rondo fell and broke his neck, and that is why we are sucking so badly against the worst team IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME, I'm going to be very distraught.  At least I have the fact that my Vols beat Kentucky today to cushion the disappointment.

Yeah, key term being right now.  Its still Feb.  I'm not going to go out and claim that "this is done" and "nothing will chnage".

Waaay too many variables still at play.
