It's incredibly disappointing, worrying too, to see how badly Kevin Garnett has played in these last two games after his excellent performances in LA + Portland.

I miss Eddie House. He would already have put us back in this game if we was still here. :'(

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I hate this team right now.

Me too.

I wish I could just stop caring about the Celtics.  I don't want to want to watch them anymore.

Can I watch some other (good) team's local broadcasts instead?

I like watching Sacramento. Rooting for Evans and Casspi is fun. I also like watching Portland, but only if Brandon Roy is playing.

I'd like to watch Houston or Dallas or Denver, even Utah

I used to like watching Houston, but they've been Celtics-esque lately.

What worries me more is that when they do care, it doesn't really make a difference.

i was certain we would be the 3 seed...but it looks like we will be the five seed.....atlantic winner is no lower than the 3 seed right?

No, we can win the division and still be a 4 seed.

This is correct.

It's not that surprising, though.  He's effectively a 36-37 year old player considering how many minutes he's played in his career.  Most players that age (not counting Nash and Kidd) have a lot of ups and downs because their bodies just don't always cooperate anymore.  Eventually, their bodies will stop cooperating completely, and that's when they have to retire.

30 minutes until the Bucks vs Heat

That will be a good game. I like seeing Mbah a Moute back at power forward. Himself and Andrew Bogut are an excellent defensive big man combination.

Yeah, but they have good reason to be inconsistent.  The Celtics have no excuse.

today is rock bottom. gets no worse than losing at home to the worst team ever...by double digits....this team is done. mentally and physically. the western trip was a mirage. this is the same team that it was before the all star break.

nothing has changed and nothing will. i will be thankful when we don't have to watch this anymore. clean house. all the way around

If KG can't be consistently healthy then the Celtics cannot win come playoff time.

A period of poor play leading to health + good play is more encouraging than up and down play.

This is a bad sign. Still early, but if this up and down play continues over the next 2-3 weeks I think we'll know exactly what type of KG we're going to get in the playoffs.

So the return of Pierce will mean nothing?
