little Fratello is correct - Rondo, for some unknown reason, tries to feed the post from near the top of the circle.

anyone who knows the game understands bad fundamentals - it is a horrible passing angle - but Rondo does it routinely and he throws it in there almost arrogantly as if "i'm Rondo, i can get away with bad fundamentals."

well Rondo, no you can't. your turnovers are killing this team.

He has 1 turnover in 3 quarters... try again, dude.

are you counting all the deflections, stalled offensive possessions, missed opportunities and wasted dribbles ??

you obviously never played the game, DUDE.

well..at least they have a run of bad teams on the docket...but they def. can't beat elite teams anymore

OK, I'll bite. We beat the Lakers a week ago. And will you say they didn't have Kobe, because I'm pretty sure we are missing our best player right now as well.

Knowing how much Celtics wanted this game, and to still lose. Maybe Championship aspirations were a little too much. Not Celtics night.

this is the team we have. they will not change. they will not be 100 percent healthy. they will not flip the switch. the are an aging team that cannot finish games.

Well, tonight proved one thing:  we won't win a championship if Paul Pierce doesn't play.  I don't think this is necessarily news, but it seems to have come as a surprise to many.

Charles Barkley guaranteed the Cavs would come back and win this game.  Very astute observation as it was quite obvious that the Celtics had played their best basketball but couldn't put Cleveland away.

Painfully obvious that this would end up being another blown lead and the C's would get obliterated in the 2nd half again.

The Portland game unfortunately was an aberration.  There was hope that it could be the start of a major turnaround but obviously not.  The C's still can't keep big leads and finish games strong.

Nothing has changed...

You may have noticed, Paul Pierce didn't play tonight.  Last I checked, he's a fairly big part of the team.

But I don't think the outcome of this game will be different even if Pierce played. Based on his performance these days.

No the worst part of this is knowing we're 2-8 against the top teams in the east.

It's amazing to me how bad Doc is at managing rotations.

Mo Williams is a joke. I can't wait till he disappears again in the playoffs.

It'll be interesting to see how these combinations develop for the Cavs

Mo or Gibson + Jamison + Shaq or Big Z

That trio is extremely flawed defensively. A lot of opportunity for an aggressive penetrator like Rondo. It'll be very interesting to see how Mike Brown deals with that issue + whether he's able to hide or improve it (like he usually does).

Well this was a pathetic performance, hopefully soon the C's will start playing for 48 total minutes again.

OMG I took a break to watch tennis and almost passed out from the 2nd half boxscore.
I will SCREAM if Doc harps on the defense postgame. Fixing the offense has to take precedence over sloppy defense now. The chronic scoring droughts are killing us even when Pierce is around.

At the very least he would of been a body to defend Lebron.
