i really can't watch rasheed and davis play togther. It's just horrid. Unless Glen Davis is taking a charge or pounding the offensive glass he is usless and sheed is, well..sheed. I've seen no energy or chemistry between the two and what drives me so crazy is that they're playing together at the end of the third, beginning of the fourth quarter. It's not rocket science why we are blowing leads and losing close games. Why not Perk/ Sheed, Perk/Davis, Sheed/Williams???

I can't figure out why Davis plays over Shelden. Shelden does the exact same things on defense as Davis does, is quicker, and is more of an offensive threat. Also brings more energy.

We need energy in the 4th! Rondo, Robinson, Ray, Garnett, and Perk need to be in!
Davis + Sheed are both centers. They can't play alongside one another at a high level.

It's an irritating combination.

Yeah that combo is rank..

Keep waiting for the C's to turn the corner but I just don't think it's going to happen.

@Denver and vs. Cleveland were there 2 statement game chances. 0-2, both because Doc Rivers couldn't take out a guy (Pierce when injured, Rondo when gassed) and WON'T STOP WALLACE FROM SHOOTING THE THREE.

It's that easy, Doc. You walk up to Rasheed, and you tell him to stop shooting 3's. If he keeps doing it, tell him he's benched the next time he shoots one.

Knowing how much Celtics wanted this game, and to still lose. Maybe Championship aspirations were a little too much. Not Celtics night.

No they don't. This isn't a lack of effort, this is Doc not being able to put on his own pants again. He can't handle Sheed, he can't handle Davis, and he can't handle a rotation.
This is all about lack of defensive effort.  One team was supplying the effort in the 2nd half, the other wasn't.

With Marquis we were able to keep up; but not once he came out.

Wow - so what happened? Could Pierce have made a difference?
No, I don't think Pierce would have changed the result.

I checked in briefly a while ago and we seemed to be in control...fatigue? Doc?
Doc Rivers has to take a large dose of the responsibility for this game. That lineup towards the end of the third + start of the fourth wiped the Celtics out.

And, Rondo was clearly exhausted and in need of a break.

Mo Williams miraculously got better when defended by someone with legs that may as well have been broken. Surprise!
