No ovation for Powe?

Yeah C's fans are better than that...

I'm dissapointed.  >:(

I'm sure people cheered.

The crowd audio for these national telecasts also seem to be somewhat muted.

Normally idc when the games are national TV but if that was on Comcast they would have caught the fans cheering.

Rondo does not need to have the ball in his hands at the end of quarters...ever again!

He's starting to do that a lot...just keeping the ball in his hands, and wasting the time down to the point where the only thing he can do is take a contested jumpshot.

I'm getting tired of him wasting valuable possessions like that.
I kind of like it. Looks like he's practicing on them or something. It's not a skill you just acquire, it's something that grows on ya.

Poor end to the first half with the Celtics blowing a 3 on 1 break and not scoring with 3 chances on that possession then giving up a 3 pointer to Lebron.  A probable 13 point halftime lead is trimmed to 8.

C's need to work on their end of quarter plays as twice tonight they have failed miserably with not even getting a decent shot off.  Rondo dribbling around until the clock runs out happened twice at the end of quarters which is not good.

C's are up only 8 even with shooting 60%.  Cleveland will be ready for the second half.

Hopefully the C's stay aggressive and win this game.  Can't afford to blow another double digit lead at home...

just curious if ur ever happy?

Definitely.

ABC/ESPN is the worst.  I remember rewatching games from the '08 playoffs and the telecast made it seem like the crowd were zombies when, in reality 'cause I was there, the place was rockin'.

Wow...they didn't even cheer?

They did cheer. Marv was slow on when it happened. He got the timing wrong: he came in 30 seconds earlier than when he said he was "checking in."
He was claiming they were giving a standing ovation for the Celtics, it happened earlier.

Nice first half by the C's. Need to avoid that second half drought that lets opponents back in the game. The team started to slow down towards to end of half.

Someone tell Doc it's ok for Rondo to keep attacking for 4 quarters.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Well Barkley just called Lebron the best player in the NBA.

I agree.

The offense moves so so much better with Pierce on the bench.

2 BLOWN end of quarters by Rajon...he ALWAYS waits til less than 5 seconds to make his move...HUH?....should be like 7 seconds---we SUCK at this.

Celtics just need to run their regular offensive sets at the end of quarters.  Not sure why they continually resort to standing around with Rondo waiting until it's too late to find an open man and forces up a terrible shot.  There has to be a better play the C's can come up with instead of repeating the same one that didn't come close to working in the first quarter.

Barkely just guaranteed that Cleveland will come back and win this game tonight...

Kobe doesn't get to the rim as easily as he used to so I have to agree as well.

Yeah you never can tell even close to how loud the arenas are when watching them on tv.

They only time I got a sense of how loud the arena was during a playoff game was right before the start of game 1 in the bulls series last year where they showed all the fans swinging the white towels.
