It was a tough game for Nate, who didn't have any of the plays memorized and was improvising most of the time. Also playing against his former team seemed to be a problem for him since they knew how to cover him pretty well.
Nate didn't bring the ball up much, but he did initiate the offense on several occasions, usually looking to penetrate and dish, but since he's not familiar with the team he was struggling to create for himself or others. When he did look to score, it was almost all jump shots. He started right of getting blocked twice and losing the ball on a fastbreak, and he seemed to have difficulty getting his shot over the defenders because of his size.
He was pressuring the ball up the floor for much of his playing time. It didn't lead to much though, he's certainly fast enough but didn't seem aggressive enough to snatch anything away.
We also got a Rondo/Robinson sighting for a few mins. That was enjoyable to watch, but as Doc mentioned in his pst game comments, they don't yet know how to truly take advantage of that yet.
Overall, Nates demeanor was very sedate, and he spent much of the night trying to stay on the same page with his teammates. If Nate is a meaningful addition to this team, time will be the key because he seemed pretty lost out there most of the night.
