Folks, I hope you're beginning to understand the comparison here... these are two fellows, playing for big franchises, who let down more than they deliver.
Sure, last yr's finals were great for L.O., however, realize it was a contract year for both him and Ariza. Now that the cash part is settled and his sidekick Ariza's got a nice deal out in Houston, Odom can go back to his usual self and that's the general all purpose slacker but with enough unrealized talent to be one of the Laker's top starting front men.
Likewise, Wallace was asked to be our *Bill Walton* but instead, he's becoming a cross product of Jim O'Brien's 'Toine and post knee surgery Chris Webber. And unlike the aforementioned duds, he doesn't have a valid excuse.
Other than being a 35-year old in his 15th year in the league. Not many last this long and contribute what Sheed contributes.
About PJ, he's being way over romanticized over here. He was fine, and did some great stuff for us in certain spots. But let's not go overboard.
Sheed is fine. He has his crappy games, and his very good games. Seriously, what were you guys expecting when we got him to be complaining so much? We'll see how he performs in the playoffs and that's on what I'll be drawing my conclusions upon. But so far, he's at just about where I expected him. Certainly, a bit disappointed in his shooting percentages, but other than that what I thought he would be and quite happy to have him.
