Very satisfying win. I realize there was no Brandon Roy, but this is the kind of game they'd have lost a few weeks ago. Back-to-back in a hostile environment after a big win over the Lakers. Hopefully they can keep this up with two more big games (at Denver, vs. Cleveland) coming up.

Good game overall....but remember this is 2 games in a row against teams whose best player is injured and hurt.

I have two comments:

1. This is opposed to injured, but not hurt?
2. I did not realize Vujachick was hurt!

Good point..and the CLE game is the one I believe that Leon Powe will suit up for...I believe our Celtics will be able to match their intensity and pull off a win, though.

Roy did play. Effectively? I guess not. But he played 33 minutes.

Still, can't say enough about this win. They coulda blown another big lead in the 4th, but they proved they were the tougher team and not only kept the lead, but extended the lead past its' initial peak.

And I'm so glad we didn't trade Ray. I can't apologize enough for wanting to trade him, even if it was only because of his contract.  

So yeah, TPs for all!

Just saw the game. Dominating performance by the C's, I felt like they couldn't lose this one... and then they started to collapse at the end of the 3rd.

Fortunately Baby and Ray saved our butts by themselves and beat the Blazers by themselves in the 4th. Ray was smokin' in the 4th, great, great to see him playing so well again!



A little disappointed by Marquis who didn't do much offensively but he hadn't to, in fact.

Great to see the hustle and energy for 4 quarters and not only 2 or 3, the Celtics responded to every run of the Blazers.

It had been a long time since a blowout but it's really good! 3-0, let's keep it up!

Also just caught the game.

I thought KG looked good tonight.  I think it was mentioned that his movement north-south is looking ok.  His lateral movement will hopefully come.

I thought Tony Allen did a fantastic job defensively.  Perk was a beast again.  Baby come up big with some really nice defensive rotations during the second half.

I thought our team defense was its best i'd seen it in quite a while tonight.  Pauly played well on D too. 

Regarding PP...he really has lost a step or 2 on offense, yet defensively to me he appears quicker?/

Is it an optical illusion?  How can he appear so much slower offensively, yet be improving defensively?
