  • It's not hard to work hard.
Just want to point out that halfway through the 4th the Blazers have 64 points.

De-fense.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Ray just might keep Pierce, KG, and Rondo on the bench for good.  Very nice, fellas, very nice indeed.

Keep giving Ray open looks to build his confidence it's beautiful to watch!

C's just need to guard the 3 point line and not let Portland get on a roll.  If they keep this margin for 2 more minutes then they can rest Ray and let the bench finish it out. Would love to see that for the first time in weeks.

The Celts are doing something tonight that I cannot remember them doing once this season. They built a big lead, weathered the opponent's run, and have rebuilt the lead to as big as it was initially. Very impressive defensive display by the bench this quarter. It has completely demoralized the Blazers, and I for one am shocked. Who knows, maybe Rondo, Paul, Perk and KG can rest for the remainder. Very impressive.

feels good to be able to enjoy the final 6 minutes knowing your stars are resting and you are 3-0 so far on this western kicker

ray allen is working his butt off tonight. I have lost sight of just how professional this guy is and what he brings to the Cs as a man. I apologize Ray Allen for doubting you
