It's time for Ray Ray to step up

Good defense and some hot shooting right now.

Thank God Doc had the sense to keep one starter on the floor -- Ray. I honestly thought he was going to go with Scal after that stellar and of the third quarter play. Add fernandez to the all-flop team. Freaking Euro trash.

That should do it. Portland are running out of steam.

The best thing Danny could do for this team, apparently, was act like he's going to trade Ray and then not do it.

Ray looks like a new player out there.  Or, should I say, an old player - the Ray we're used to seeing before this year.

Nothing much funnier than seeing a robot do the robot.

It's nice to see the Celtics playing well again.

Giving me hope is a cruel thing to do, but I won't let that stop me from enjoying good play. Davis is putting on a show for a guy with 6 points.

Ray Allen is saving the Celtics on offense with Big Baby on defense.

Ray's shot looks so much better since the break.  Even when they miss the arc is much better.  It seemed like he was shooting so many line drives due to tired legs but the stroke looks to be returning in a big way.

One more push here to get the lead back to 20 and finish the game.  Stay aggressive and get a few more big baskets.  Ray for another 3 out of the timeout should do the trick...

Darn close to a dogfight, I hope we continue to keep the cushion.  Not sure my heart can take a close one again tonight.

On another note, you think the Blazer bloggers are cursing the refs right now for stifling their run?

Why do that? We need him on the floor. He's one of our best players out there.

Between now and the under 6 timeout is crucial...can we continue to keep them at arm's length, or are we gonna have to gut another one out?

All I know is I think Ray's happy to still be a C.   :D
