Of the realistic options, Hayes may be the best fit. The man can shoot, and the second unit could use it. He'd be a nice fit with Nate and Marquis.

in my opinion we need a big man behind KG,Sheed, perk,BBD, possibly a good rebounder, with energy.
Sheldon Williams is officially screwed, for me with good reason, since he looks unconsistent.

With KG playing on crutches and Sheed playing like crap, I think a strong rebounding PF is actually our biggest position of need.

Quise, Nate and TA will plug the 1,2 &3 better than most other teams at those positions, but our backup guards/small forwards were never the issue.  Not having the Big Ticket above 60% is what's eating us right now IMO...

We could sign Drew Gooden if he get's bought out which is what people are thinking could happen.

Don't know if it truly fits the need for a strong rebounding PF but I wouldn't mind if the C's took a look at him.
I'd take a rebounding big over any other position.  Drew Gooden would be perfect.  Someone like Bobby Simmons adds nothing.

Bobby Simmons would add plenty.  We have no perimeter shooting on the wing when Ray/Paul are not on the floor.  Simmons is a career 40% 3-pt shooter who can rebound and defend a little.

I agree that Gooden would be very useful as the 4th big, though.  He's much better than Shelden and would give us a very solid rebounding option.  Doubt he'd sign here though.

A guy who I forgot about being out there is Von Wafer... I wouldn't mind if the C's took a look at him.
