Let's see the starters do SOMETHING here and build the lead up.  They had a nice break and are playing a TERRIBLE team tonight.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I don't think our expectations have much to do with how this team does.

I want a championship too, I want one every year, but you have to play the hand you're dealt.  The Celts went all in to get a title, they got it, now we're living with the aftermath.  It's how it goes.  I'd rather be a Celtics fan than a Knicks fan, wouldn't you?

They can talk all they want around the league about Tyreke Evans, and yes, he will be a superstar scorer in this league but the guy that has the impressive all around game is Omri Casspi

This kid is excellent

This is the third time I have seen him this year and all three times I came away more impressed with Casspi's total game than Evans' scoring
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Pierce can't finish right now.

good news is the starters are at least holding the lead and not blowing it. the way things have gone, this is good progress.

not really progress; the team we're facing is pretty awful.  if we were playing against a .500+ team they'd be winning right now.

kings pretty tough at home...cavs had to go to over the last 2 years there to win...

Yeah the Kings fight hard but are 13-12 at home this year not exactly great.

And the C's blow another inside chance.  Counting fast breaks and Perk's blowing layups that is at least 10 easy buckets the C's have choked away...

the combined vertical leap of pierce and KG right now is about 6 inches. i can't believe I am saying this, but sheed and marquise need to be inserted into the starting lineup for ray and oerk.

  • Rondo = Good
how can rondo make 3 after 3 in that horse contest but miss FTs?

how can KG make 3 after 3 in practice but not make them when he takes them in games?

hitting shots in practice and hitting them in a game are two very different things...you have to be on a whole other level to hit shots consistently in a game.

Also agree that it's not that Garnett can't jump anymore--I just saw him go up for a rebound pretty well.  It's the quick lift and explosion that is gone right now.  I was hoping it'd come back (like it was earlier this season).  But it might be gone for good...which would really be a shame.

If we could make layups we'd be up about 15 right now.

Kings guy said that if you catch it in the circle, it can be a charge, but it looks like Pierce drove into the circle. I think they got the call wrong.

The starters just seem like they have to grind for points right now...a lot seems to have to go right for them to get a basket.  Gotta step it up.
