2 years ago we had enough talent that a coach that is clueless but liked by the players was enough. Right now, we'd need a good coach to really contend, but Doc isn't that coach.

It is amazing to me how long it takes Doc to make any kind of adjustment or substitution when things start to go south.

Bench someone, Doc. Call a time out. In 08 Doc yanked Powe because he missed a few defensive rotations, and then told the press that is why he did it. Why can't he do that with established players? Why pick on the young ones and do nothing about the starters who SHOULD know better?

Marquis Daniels should have played the last six minutes, not Pierce.
Agreed

Co-signed.

Tell that to Doc. Big3 are close to being done.

Fans of the Celtics deserve the break more than the team itself, I'm telling you.

Watching Celtics game has become a torture. Can't believe I have stayed up until now (4:39 am) to watch this disaster.

Not all in PP tho. KG couldnt keep in front of anyone. Only hope they had was to stick with Quis, Davis and Rasheed, but the Good Doctor went back to his standard rotation. Ugh.

And Perkins was stinkin it up down the stretch as well,

How many times does the same exact thing have to happen before people stop saying, "It's just one game," "It's only December, or January or February," "they need to get the chemistry back after all the injruies," and on and on and on?

Kevin Garnett played tonight at about 50 percent, if that much. When does the betting start as to win he goes down for the season because of the knee?

Marquis Daniels should have played the last six minutes, not Pierce. The big three is no more. There is nothing left to look at here folks, pass on by. It's just another trainwreck.

Daniels should be starting

Daniels has the highest basketball IQ on the team (and is the second best passer, after KG or Rondo, take your pick).

We hit rock bottom tonight, folks. I have faith in Danny to shake things up, though. Anything's better than this bad karma. This is the guy who said he would have traded Bird. He's not going to lose sleep over moving Ray or other assets.

where in the last two or three weeks have you seen people posting that?

I think pretty much all of celtic nation has come to accept this team isn't as good as we thought.

Rock bottom comes when Rondo proves he's not an up-and-coming star (no, one game does not prove that, whoever I quoted earlier).

PP has been injured since Christmas...he knee to me is still a problem. the losses really are starting to ease up on me now. after having me heart ripped out vs the lakers, i am becoming numb and accepting this team for who they really are. i am thankful for the 17th banner they won but i am also ready to move on to the future....
