I'm not a huge fan of Tyrus Thomas because he does seem like a knucklehead, but I think people are selling him a little short. Granted, he hasn't delivered on his top-5 draft status yet. But he IS still only 23, and is probably the best shot blocking PF in the league right now plus a pretty good rebounder. I don't know if he's gonna ever gonna be a franchise guy, but he definitely has value.
I would see the rotation something like (note: don't try to decipher this per se, it's to make a point)
Rondo / Daniels / Hinrich / House
T Allen / Hinrich / Pierce / House
Pierce / T Allen / Daniels
Garnett / Thomas / Davis
Perkins / Wallace
The point being, we would be playing a lot of matchup basketball with so many guys who could play the 2, but also the 1 or the 3.
I'll say one thing -- that unit could play some SERIOUS defense with Tony Allen starting and Hinrich / Thomas / Wallace as our first guys off the bench.
