xXBatum88Xx.....I'm not a fan of his as a starting guy on your squad. When he was starting next to Brandon Roy it was different...but next to Gallinari he's going to need to pull a lot more weight, both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I think he can rise to meet the road as they say on the offensive side, but on the defensive side, can he defend 2's as well as he defended 3's?

(I call him xXBatum88Xx because he chose his jersey by the year he was born..didn't know if I got that across)

I like the Kaveman (see what I did there? I put a K because his name is Kaman) in the middle, and I think the team will be able to move up and down the floor very well, especially with Jeff Green. Gallinari should not want for transition 3's.

Question: How much would Wes Matthews help out your team? I will accept the answer in the form of interpretive dance.

No response huh? Bulls? More like cowardly lions.

Did you post this in invisible ink? I must have missed it.

Or this season has trained me to ignore all things Net related. Whichever.

Batum at the 2 is a big gamble. He is the guy the Blazers use to guard the 2s to keep Roy out of trouble. For example last year against the Lakers they'd throw Batum on Kobe and have Roy man up on Ariza. So he's defensively capable, but it will certainly be an adjustment for him. He'll need to learn how to create for himself a bit more.

You are very clever.

I agree that this team will be murder in transition.

As for Wes, I can do you one better. I can give you an entire improvisational dance troupe:

  • Rondo = Good
Things coming together for the Blazers.

PG: Delonte
SG: Roy
SF: Luc "The Prince" Mbah a Moute
PF: L.M.A.
C: Shaq

----
- Erick Dampier (backup C)
- Travis Outlaw (backup PF / SF)
- Luke Walton (backup SF / PF / SG)

I think this team's strength will be defense more than anything, though they should get a decent amount of offense between Roy, LMA, and Shaq.

I like Outlaw and Walton off the bench, plenty of versatility there; pretty good defensively, not bad offensively.  Need to get a solid backup point, a guard or two, and some serviceable bigs for depth.  Really tough to duplicate the depth of the Blazers (at most positions), though.

I'll be happy if the first 4 guys off the bench are decent contributors, though.  That's all that really matters.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

If by "specific" you mean "the entire blog", then yes.

So then maybe I will go,

Brooks/Bibby
Derozan/Salmons
Magette/Salmons
Millsap/Yi
Okafor/Wallace
DeRozan was a very good pickup. He could become an All-Star talent in two years time if things go well.

Gives the Rockets some star quality on the perimeter to go alongside the two talented big men and quality supporting cast.

ya having to lose Horford, Crawford, M. Williams, and Bibby is a tought group to replace...i think you did a decent job though,,i like jason thompson and the anderson boys.  I think you dropped the ball by not grabbing David Anderson and throwing out a giant lineup with 3 Andersons
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

;D good point, 3 Anderson's could have swayed the voting in my favor.

Maybe shop Thompson for an SF and PG? Move Smith back to his natural position. There has to be a team in need of some added size on a rookie deal. And you've already got a nice back up big in Ryan Anderson.

And get a really decent PG in return for Thompson. That's the biggest issue right now.

Devin Harris would look good in Red.
