So for the second time in three weeks the Denver defense scores a touchdown, the broncos win by less than a touchdown, but it is Tebow that does all the winning.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.  The Denver defense played great in the first half and is the only reason they were still in the game.  But it was Denver's offense, including Tebow, that won the game in the 2nd half.

Do you have this same irrational reaction when EVERY OTHER quarterback gets all the credit for winning?

But the pro-Tebow hype is almost entirely a backlash against the anti-Tebow hype that he can't play in the league.  People didnt' just say Tebow wasn't very good.  They said he sucked to such an awesome degree that he should never really get a chance to get on the field, even when Denver was 1-4 and the only other QB options were Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn.

I would bet that if critics (and his own franchise) had treated Tebow like any other young QB on a bad team, the hype around Tebow would be no better or worse than anyone else.

I think its unfair to assign collective guilt for people's doubts in this thread for ESPN talking heads bloviating on the topic of Tebow.

Which seems to be the crux of what you're saying. Since Trent Dilfer and other media guys bagged his training camp like crazy the people in this thread are unreasonable? Seems to be common to multiple people in this thread.

The part I didn't get was that prior to the 2010 draft Tebow paid for dinner for them?  How'd he do that? With what money? He was still a college student, right? I guess his eligibility was used, so he didn't have to worry about taking money then? Maybe he got it from a book signing or endorsement deal?

Maybe he was forced to write it? Maybe there's some sort of anti-Tebow thing in the media where they agree they don't like him, but are more than happy to make some money off the story? I don't get it.

Also......even though that was a horrid horrid forrid game that nobody deserved to win I am telling you right now when the Bears lined up to get that on sides kick they were shaking in their boots, and someone probably wet themselves when the ball bounced in the air. I am almost jealous. The guy went out and his whole team made mistake after mistake and so did he and he still won.  Tebow is like the guy that all your classmates know is a bad student. Somehow he wakes up 5 minutes before the test, gets a 95%, all his teachers love him, and his uncle is the principal, so he literally has a best friend upstairs.  But he keeps getting 95s and you think, "he's gonna get screwed in college" and then it doesn't happen and if forces you to doubt yourself. Gee. Maybe he is a good student. No. He's not a good student. He thinks evolution happened in 5000 years. He doesn't know the difference between Russia and the Soviet Union and thinks Napoleon is a fictional kid from Idaho. Then how does he keep getting 95s? I don't know! It's totally natural to hate that guy. I still like him more than Farve. That's totally different.

He's like the Forest Gump of the NFL. Just run! Only instead of being special he's special.  

All opinions on Tebow are totally justified. He is the enigma wrapped in a question deep inside a mystery of the NFL.  I like my answers faster.
