The Celtics are baffled as to why they go from decent months to horrid months? We may have to start tanking to get John Wall.

I think you posted in the wrong thread.  This one is about the fantasy draft, not the real Celtics team.

TP.

We plan to draft Wall and trade Rondo to Orlando for Howard since Orlando is struggling in this reality. ;D

Got to love the Utah Salties.  Climbing that seeding ladder.

HCA here we come.

Still not sure how we have an overall of rate of 86 with an offense rate of 87 and defense rate of 91.

think I need another team review/eval from Who-->how you like that Salties defense now?  ;D

I will just never get the correlation between record and efficiency

Maybe a better idea would be to run 10 simulations and see what the cumulative results would be though that would be a huge undertaking

I don't understand how some teams with low efficiencies have such high win totals or how teams with relatively even efficiencies can be soooo different in record

I'm not sure how the rankings work.  It could be that a deep but mediocre team rates highly, because it's players are all pretty good, even though it lacks a star.  Another team, on the other hand, that has a great rotation but a lesser deep bench may have a lower ranking, even though the players actually getting minutes are better.

I've got no idea if that's how it works, but it's an explanation.

I like that my squad has no one any of the lists, and yet we're currently the 4th seed.  GO PISTONS!

Word is Rodney Stuckey was so surprised by the sim results that he passed out.

Tasteless, I know...
Yup

Okay, I can understand that, I guess

So now explain to me where the Detroit club fits in

They have the second worst efficiency rating in the game yet are almost a .500 team and have a better record than 4-5 other EC teams with efficiencies 8-10 points higher, teams that have clearly better rotations and players

I mean it's all good and fun

It just doesn't make any sense

Then again, neither does the real life play of the Celtics so I guess anything is possible

I'm with you in that sentiment.  Utah is 5th in the West with no mention of any individual honors and just a mere game and a half out of the 3 seed.

the fact that we're getting that far with Sheed as the first big off the bench is even more impressive.
