The Robber Barons select up-and-coming point guard Rodrigue Beaubois

The Salties select Jason Maxiell
Rodrigue Beaubois is a brilliant pick. I'm amazed that he lasted so long.

The guy could become an All-Star down the road. Very talented defensive player + an explosive scorer/shooter. Great athleticism.

He was the best value left on the board.

Finally, some praise from Who!  I was on a run of making disappointing draft picks.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Good trade I think for Minny. Maggette was a stop gap at best. Young is a better option.

I hear ya, I just think "WHO" was right about Thad being stronger at the 4 where he creates mismatches, so I wanted to get a player that creates mismatches at the 3 and Magette fits the bill niceley
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Yeah I don't hate the trade for you at all. Maggette is good in the right system, and honestly I wasn't a big fan of your wing construction before. I like it better with Maggette.

The more I thought about it, the more I worried that Maggette wouldn't play nicely off the bench behind Deny.

Plus Thad Young gives us some more quickness.
