So......what's the odds running that Pierce is the first pick

I think there are a few possibilities at #1.
Definitely, Mr Hobbs

I have any one of three definite guys that could go #1, maybe even a 4th

Depends on the individual preferences and team needs

Just this being a Celtic blog.......well I gotta think there's a good chance he's gone by the 2nd pick and definitely by the third
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I think it depends on each team's needs and whether teams are willing to take on his contract when everything totals up.  I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him available when I pick at #20 (although I'm hoping the players I have rated higher than him are still available   ;D  )

Exactly, take my team for example. How well does Pierce fit alongside Rose and Noah? Skill wise pretty well, but does the age difference mean that by the time this team is ready to contend, Pierce will be to old and my franchise will have just wasted 40 million dollars? Would I be better served looking for a different player? Questions you have to ask yourself.

See, for me, I'm not even looking at contracts

Why

I'm the Knicks, I don't have to worry about my contract situation until the draft is over and trades kick in using trade rules

It's not like I won't be able to afford a $110 million team salary
Pick 2 Knicks

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I'm thinking of moving my first pick in a gentleman's deal to move down in the first and pick up an extra pick

Any interested parties can send me a personal message with a proposal

All non-silly offers will of course cause me to hit the giveth one button

The Bulls have had a few trade discussions that have ended amicably but not fruitfully.

If anybody's interested in Chris Kaman, hit me up.  I'll listen to trades for Blake Griffin too, but I'm a lot less likely to deal him.
