I don't think there's a realistic way we could trade for him.  If he and the Knicks agreed to a buyout, it could happen.

He's a very talented player, but he's not the type of self-centered, locker room cancer that will fit in here.  From everything I've read, he's one of the least popular players in the NBA.  It's too bad, too, because I love his athleticism and energy.

Roy, interested to hear where you've been reading this. i was surprised to hear a number of high profile players come to his defense when he was benched.

I've linked to the stories multiple times in the past; search for Nate Robinson and "jerk", and you'll find some links. Robinson has a history of picking fights with teammates, including going after one of them with a broom.  From what I've heard, he also wasn't very well-liked at Washington.

what we're dealing with is a classic case of small man syndrome.  I thought I read somewhere that he had turned a corner with his attitude... but then again why was he benched all this time?

I could see him and Rondo coming to blows.
I can see him and lots of our players coming to blows.

He's a punk who cares more about showing off and his numbers than winning. He'd upgrade our bench, but I'd be very nervous about him creating more friction in our locker room.

I'd be a little more leary of the guys who have been disruptive on more than one team.  I mean, guys like AI and Marbury have been disasters on multiple teams.  Nate is a young guy and we have strong veteran leadership.  If it was worth a shot with Marbury, than it's worth a shot with Nate.
