Why do I suspect that the Celtics will deny their interest by the time I get back from a baby shower in New York? (which would be much later tonight)

Knicks fans are going to be mighty upset if he lands in Boston and all they get is TA and a bag of balls.  I don't know what they can rightfully expect to get for Robinson, but that would be painful for their fanbase.

I don't think there's a realistic way we could trade for him.  If he and the Knicks agreed to a buyout, it could happen.

He's a very talented player, but he's not the type of self-centered, locker room cancer that will fit in here.  From everything I've read, he's one of the least popular players in the NBA.  It's too bad, too, because I love his athleticism and energy.

RH,i thought about the potential locker room problems but i thought to if they could deal with Marbury short term anything's possible.Half the season is close to being finish and if he doesn't work out can't you dump him after the season is over?

Seriously...no one remembers Marquis Daniels. No one.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I think even a nutball like Marbury had to be able to look in the mirror at that point realize his skills had diminished.  Not so sure Robinson is coming from a similar place.  Dude came back from a few weeks off and tossed in 40-something off the bench.  Not exactly going to squelch his ego.

I think the Celtics need to get a backup PG, even though Daniels can do some of those duties when he eventually returns.

But I also think Daniels can be a more useful player if there is another PG as well so there is more time on the floor for him to play off the ball (like he did so well in Indy last year) as well as time when he is the PG.

And its possible coming to a winning franchise just might be what he needs to become the good team player inside/outside the locker room.I don't know the full story of Nates'issues because im not inside their locker room but i think any player is capable of changing for the better,if put in the right situation.

Still don't want Robinson.  Small, shoot first SG running the point is not what I want to see added.  Especially since House is an important roll player.
