4th game in 5 nights...and 7th in 9....plus Chicago was OFF last night = Recipe for disaster.

boston was off last night also...there is no excuse to come out at HOME on national TV and play this bad

Get sick of these excuses.  Injuries are part of the game and great teams overcome them.  The Blazers have lost an entire lineups worth of players and are playing well without excuses.  The Rockets lost 2 franchise players and are playing well without excuses.  The Spurs and Lakers both played back to back last night and pulled out tough wins against decent teams.  The Celtics still have 2 Hall of Famers and an additional all star caliber player on the floor tonight.  That should be more than enough to overcome a below average Bulls team.

There is no way the Celtics should be losing at home to the 3-13 road team Chicago Bulls.

I agree with a lot you say, but they are missing two of their three big men and the guy who is supposed to be a defensive stopper off the bench. And it is the 5th in 7 nights -- AGAIN. You guys know that I can be hard on this team, but they deserve a break.

meh...maybe i am looking at the big picture but the next few weeks could be brutal unless something changes...including injuries...they have to become a better team

Vinnie I hear where you are coming from -- it's just that this effort has been happening more and more lately even when not on back to back games.  It's a bit worrisome that lots of people keep saying it's because of injuries, fatigue or whatever.  It's quite possible that the Celtics will not have a completely healthy team at all this year.  They need to play hard and well regardless instead of always falling back on this.  Daniels didn't show any real ability to defend the elite wing players or score consistently so not sure how much his return will really help.

I that Rasheed and especially KG will come back and play well but the C's can't keep waiting and hoping for that to happen while giving efforts like this in the interim

The Blazers have lost 4 of there last 8 games, and 3 of them have come at home...it's not like they're lighting it up or anyhting.

You act like this team has a 16-20 record. They're the 3rd best team in the NBA right now!!

I'd give some merit to the Bulls. They're a very energetic and physical team that gets the majority of their wins by out-hustling and out-running their opponents. It's difficult to match their intensity level, rest or no rest.

That said, if the Celtics defend the transition and pack the lane more not allowing them to get the ball into the paint (let the Bulls shoot from the outside, they will miss a lot of shots), it'll be very difficult for Chicago to stay in this game till the end.

Thank you.

Someone finally showing some reason rather than jumping off the deep end.

If I am not mistaken the Celtics had 6 losses at home last year --  if they lose tonight it will be 6 losses already this year!

ANd these are the 3-13 on the road Chicago Bulls.

Great comments by Doug Collins saying these are the type of games that Championship caliber teams win despite being tired.  Great rational comments there by the best NBA analyst on TV.

Nice drive by Pierce to get to the foul line.

Are the Celtics really starting the 3rd quarter with this horrible defensive energy after regrouping at halftime???  Unreal they don't look any different out there on defense than in the first half.
