when did boston have a good win? vs orlando? seems everyone since has been squeakers (other than NJ) or bad losses...i just dont feel very good about this team right now

Well, it's kinda hard to win games consistently when you have as many injuries and sicknesses as we have had. We are going to lose some games...

Down 8 isn't bad given that Pierce, Allen and Rondo have not yet realized they are playing a game tonight, and Scal became our go-to guy on offense for several minutes. That was the worst half I have seen Pierce play in forever. Forcing everyting on offense and not guarding Deng at all.

4th game in 5 nights...and 7th in 9....plus Chicago was OFF last night = Recipe for disaster.

boston was off last night also...there is no excuse to come out at HOME on national TV and play this bad

I wonder what Doc is telling them now.

"you look old, tired, lazy and disinterested..you are getting beat by a team that is 3-13 on the road and once again you play poorly at home"

Now that is hopefully exactly what Doc is saying!

Some effort would be very nice, in the second half.

You might say playing the Nets is an off-night but the fact of the matter is that this team DID play last night.  Ran up and down the court and butted elbows with another team.

Then they had to fly back to Boston to play a home game.

It's not as easy as you make it sound.

Plus there's the minutes they ran. Jeez.

Dunno but you say the most random things mister CelticinOrlando.

Um, Boston played last night

they played NJ and all the starters played less that 30 minutes. energy and effort shouldnt be an issue..esp at home with 3 days off coming up. there is zero excuses for this tonight. even with the injuries they should be putting forth a better effort. as a celtics fan..i expect more than this...or the effort in the 3rd quarters vs Atlanta...or the second half vs GS.

I give the C's a hard time a lot and the effort tonight has stunk, but some of you guys gotta give the team a break. They are without KG, Sheed and Daniels and this is the 5th game they have played in 7 nights. The effort should be better, but 5 in 7 is hard enough when you have a full roster.

others teams have to do it..other teams have injuries..yet they find ways to win games at home. heck they beat the raptors with no PP. KG, Rondo...you are telling me that the effort they are putting forth tonight is good enough?

Get sick of these excuses.  Injuries are part of the game and great teams overcome them.  The Blazers have lost an entire lineups worth of players and are playing well without excuses.  The Rockets lost 2 franchise players and are playing well without excuses.  The Spurs and Lakers both played back to back last night and pulled out tough wins against decent teams.  The Celtics still have 2 Hall of Famers and an additional all star caliber player on the floor tonight.  That should be more than enough to overcome a below average Bulls team.

There is no way the Celtics should be losing at home to the 3-13 road team Chicago Bulls.
