Paul Pierce...you should be EMBARRASSED by your game at both ends tonight.

I don't know how its only an 8 point game, if we come out with some energy in the second half we could win this game.

Only down 8 at the half.  Not the worst.

Haven't shown any consistency but we showed more energy in the 2nd quarter.  Maybe they're finally breaking out of this lull they had with them to start things out.

It could be much worse.

Yeah, you can't score when two people are fouling you at the same time. What a shame.

Celtics scored 71 points last night and follow it up with an absolutely putrid 39 points.

I guess I underestimated just how bad the Nets are.

When playing the 3-13 road team Chicago Bulls the C's can't break 40 points for the first half at home.  WOW

Gee great finish to the half after cutting it to 5 points!  Can't even play 2 solid minutes to keep the game close.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

And Pierce has had his shot blocked 4 times tonight way to go Captain along with having Deng 5 for 5.
Seriously. Hope you don't call yourself a "fan".

Booing your own team is very, very Lakers.

.edit: that said, we look rather bad.

Eddie for 3!  :D

I'm amazed we're only down 8 with how sloppy we're playing. Definitely more than a chance at this.

4th game in 5 nights...and 7th in 9....plus Chicago was OFF last night = Recipe for disaster.

Anyone who wouldn't boo the effort given by the Celtics so far tonight isn't a "fan" but merely a blind optimist.  Getting beat is one thing but an utter lack of effort (except Rondo and the trying hard but can't shoot Scal) is another.

This isn't about being tired or anything like that. The fact is, this team us outmanned without our injured players. And it is showing inside. I know will call it an excuse but it is the truth. With kg and ra, we win by 20 like the other two games.

I wonder what Doc is telling them now.

"you look old, tired, lazy and disinterested..you are getting beat by a team that is 3-13 on the road and once again you play poorly at home"

Pierce gets beat again then lazily reaches in.  He is playing horribly tonight on BOTH ends.

It's the worst game I've seen Pierce playing for years...
Put in Giddens, at least he's gonna play some D and not gonna be blocked several times... :P
