Yeah, cause Posey's done well since he left Boston.
And I don't think the Magic are trading away Ryan Anderson.
I'm afraid I can only see this as a reactionary post.
Posey's gonna do well wherever he goes ... he's just one of those players who adapts well. I was disappointed to lose him ... as well as Leon, who I call "Mr. 110%".
well, i love posey too, but i don't see how one can look at his body of work in NO and lable it as anything else than sub-par and he looks awful on the court right now.
He was never a fast player, and he's lost a step. he's getting abused on defense by athletic small forwards right now. It pains me to say it, but not signing posey is looking like a good move on danny's part. I'd hate the shell of james posey that's down in NO on this team.
Back to sheed, I think he's been a great pickup. Yes, he can shoot the three far to much for my liking, but he has also made an effort to get down on the low post these last few weeks, not counting last night. Last night he was far to preimiter oreinted.
His defense has been good, his rebounding solid, and he looks great against other teams bench's. That's his job now. This thread spawns from last nights bad game and not being objective about the player.
Sheed the bench player = great signing.
Sheed the 40 minute starter = out of his role.
IF we are forced to start sheed for the rest of the year, we aren't winning a title anyway, so i'm not to worried about it. It was no surprise to me that josh smith and al horford were better than a 35 year old wallace.
The hawks are a good team, and they defended thier home turf against a injury riddled Celtics team. Not surprising in the least, and certainly not wallace's fault.
