This is why when a team doesn't have a strong defense, and let's all face the facts, the Pats don't, you should never defer the kickoff to the second half. Never agreed with that when your defense isn't really strong.

I was plaaning on saying how nice it is to see the Pats in the playoffs.  It's been almost 2 years since one of these days and I've missed the feel.  But, wow, what a deflating start.

Hate to be overly dramatic, but for the reasons Fafnir stated, the Pats really need to score here.  This could be very hard deficit to make up playing a team with a good defense and good running game.  

Dodged another bullet -- actually that's the first one they've dodged.
