Wow, that's great Roy.  Congrats!  I'm trying to come up with a good way to pop the question myself.  Good news is she is a Boston Sports fan so maybe I will do a jumbotron proposal

As some of you guys may know, I've been planning on proposing to my girlfriend for awhile.  Well, Monday night, I popped the question (and she said yes.) 

There's a Celtics-related twist here, so bear with me.  The original plan was to have a nice dinner (Top of the Hub), followed by us going over to Faneuil Hall and getting a horse-drawn carriage.  Small problem:  apparently, on week nights during the winter (or at least this week), the horses / buggies aren't running.  Oops.  (I thought I'd verified that, but oh well.)

So, I was stuck, since I really hadn't thought of a fallback plan.  So, I went and sat next to Red (the statute), and thought about how to go about it.  There were all kinds of trees lined with white Christmas lights, with a huge Christmas tree in the middle.  I decided to ask her there.  That's right:  I proposed maybe 10 feet from the Red statute.

Hopefully, Red blesses this marriage.  I can't go wrong, right?

now thats a tp!  popping the question with style....red would be proud.  congrats!
