Heres a fun stat, Scal is 6'9 250, TA is 6'4 210, rebounds this year going into tonights game.

Scal, 9 rebounds in 196 minutes
TA, 35 rebounds in 166 minutes

I know TA is much more athletic and active, but my god Scal. The bench was beyond bad so far tonight, i know +/- for one game is a weak stat but the whole starting lineup has a positive +/-, every player on the bench has a negative +/-.

I honestly wonder how many players in the NBA are worse than Scal. Can't be more than a dozen. He is absoolutely useless.
While at times Scal is fairly useless, he does play a role.

As for tonight's role, he's played less than a minute. Not a lot you can blame on Scal tonight.

Please. The guy should not even be on the roster. He does NOTHING for this team and when he is on the court, it is 4 versus 5 when the Celtics are on offense. His only role should be to keep the 12 seat on the bench warm.

I will be excited to see TMAC on a new team... provided he actually plays in games, he's still an exciting player to watch.

That is a big provided. I would have a hard time trading for him given his injury history vs. his salary.

Think Danny would trade Scal, Tony, and Giddens for another thirtysomething with a little bit of a bad rep who's seen better days? ;)

I can't help repeat myself. How the hell does a team get up 18 points on the Warriors and blow that lead in 14 minutes? It is just unbelievable. I can understand this happening to bad teams, but the Celtics.

Most glaring stat when I look at the boxscore: Eddie House is a -17 in 9 minutes.

23 to 11 foul shooting

Don't start blaming the refs for this. Celts NOT taking the ball to the hoop and settling for jumpers. Golden State far more aggressive in the second quarter. If the Celts don't come out aggressive to start the third, this one could get ugly.
Agree. The Celtics played stupid basketball in the second quarter. Just plain stupid basketball. The refs had nothing to do with the collapse of the 18 point lead. That's all on the defense being played on Ellis going from good tight deny defense to non-existent defense and dumb stupid turnovers and fouls.

Six steals by CJ Watson! What is happening to the team? Where is their focus?

The team can't stand to have House all-season with his mediocre ballhandling and he ain't a backup PG. Doc wake up! Please don't lose this one.

TWELVE turnovers in the first half. And, as for the injury excuse, how do you explain the Trailblazers record despite half the team being injured? How do you explain the Clippers beating the Celtics without Camby and their number 1 draft pick sitting on the sidelines. It is all about playing smart and having your head in the game. Two things the Celtics did not do in the second quarter.

Our backup sf is Brian Scalabrine and our starter is Tony Allen. That's how. Also, as a handicapper, GSW isn't a team you fade at home.

Bears and Vikings in OT.

thanks, forgot that was on

As a Brett Favre hater the last 20 minutes of this game have been horrible. Though that last sack was nice. Have always hated Favre, have thought him crazy overrated and having to listen to the endless fawning over him can drive a man crazy. No one ever brings up the ridiculous picks he has thrown in playoff games, none the less. And the whole Childress vs Favre issue is cause Brett had to be the center of attention, media-Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. and blab about itso people would talk about him. Such a primadonna

Oh absolutely. I would never want him on the Celtics... I just want to watch him play again.

Oh yeah, didn't mean on the C's. Just what my attitude as any GM would be.

And I would hope not on the C's to reply to that. Never been a big TMac fan myself.

Our backup sf does not have to be Brian Scalabrine. It is just Doc's stubborn ways that makes that so. As for GS, they are 8-21 and either 5-8 or 5-9 at home. No excuses.

Watson is the next contestant on the new hit game show with a long-winded title called "Who Wants to be an NBA Scrub to Have a Career Night Against the Celtics?"  Top 5 performances win a max contract from an NBA team for the next 5 years.

Dude, your stats are way off. There is no way Scal is only 250 lbs. ;)

Would you be so kind as to explain this. Exactly who is supposed to be this team's backup SF when Daniels and Pierce are injured?
