-I cannot believe that KRS1 and Lupe did the rapping here. Two awesome rappers, one terrible song. It's like James Franco acting on "General Hospital"

-KRS1 takes the chorus to Lions of Hip Hop, Lupe takes "Bridge is Over". Its like Target using beetles songs.

-Kobe and LeBron go together like Lamb and Tuna Fish.

-This thing makes no sense. 1), Why does a reindeer, who knows darn well that they can't dribble or shoot, challenge Kobe, Lebron, and a surprisingly spry santa clause to a game? 2) Since when can reindeer talk? 3) Since when does santa rap like tha teacha?

C'mon now, IP...you (and everyone else here) knows that it's all part of the NBA wanting Lebron and Kobe to be together in June. Is saw yet another commercial on ESPN last week-this one with Lebron and Kobe as ESPN "Muppet" Commentators.

It's a lovefest. One that only the Celtics, ATL, ORL, San Antonio or Denver can break up, IMO.

The Celtics (and the teams I mentioned) just don't have the Star Power.

As soon as CLE or LA are done, then these silly commercials go away, just like last year.

Actually, I just don't see the "NBA Marketing Gurus" framing our Big Three like that...ever. Remember: The Celtics are Old, Not hip, not cool..play team ball, etc..

The "Big Three" have been Old and Broke Down since they came together nearly three yrs ago.

Funny thing is that Kobe is no spring chicken either, at 31, now that I think of it..he is only a year younger than our Captain.

The most that ESPN have done with the Big Three is the Three Amigos skits..maybe a one or two more.

It's just not "Cool" to like the Celtics. Wasn't cool back in 2007-2008 either and we all know what happened to LA then.

KG's too hyper...Sheed's too mean..Perk scowls too much..Pierce isn't flashy..Rondo's still an unknown, for most part. And Ray's just too smooth, no special effects with him.

But I'll take my C's any day.

You know, if the NBA Marketing Gurus EVER did a video like this for our Big Three..I'd wear a Lakers Jersey around for a year. That's how sure I am that they wouldn't do it for the Celtics.

Now THAT (Last Question) is what i'd like.

To be honest, though..I would have an empty feeling if LA didn't make it. No disrespect to Denver, but Boston VS LA is like Redskins VS Cowboys...Duke VS UNC, Georgetown VS St Johns (Back in the Day) etc, to me.

I just want to see Artest and CO's responses on the after game press events:

1. Questions from audience after each NBA Finals game: Kobe, how can your team solve the Celtics vaunted defense?

2. Artest: Why haven't you been able to slow down Pierce?

3. Kobe: You haven't seen many clean looks at the basket this series. How can you get the rest of your teammates involved against this Boston Defense?

4. Bynum: You are one of the best centers in the game right now, and so young. Why have you averaged only half your season pts total against Perk and Sheed? And how can you prevent Sheed from torching your team from the three point line?

5. Derek Fisher: How can your team slow down Rondo? He's having a super series against you all?

6. Phil Jackson: How can you solve this Celtics Bench? Did you think they were this good?

I just can't imagine the folks asking any other team these questions in the after-game meetings in the NBA finals this year.......

As much as I don't care for LeBron or Kobe, I actually like the Nike puppet commercials. It'd make more sense if KRS and Lupe repped their respective NYC and Chicago teams...
