Actually, I like what Shelden has done so much, I would trade Big Baby if the right deal came along.  The team needs a backup PG and another decent wing would be helpful as well.

Baby plus a couple expiring contracts should bring back a legit rotation player to fill a need or two.

Nah, we need Glen....Williams has been pretty good---but he's not a game changer.---he gets points and rebounds-cause nobody pays attention to him.

I don't think Glen adds what this team needs.  I like KG, Perk, Sheed, Wlliams, Scal for a front court.

Davis ability to defend quality opposing bigs in the post will come in quite handy as will his ability to hit the outside shot. I think we would probably have been a much better team up til now with him. Besides, you never know when the team needs an enforcer and BBD can handle that role as well.

Glen Davis is a mental abomination. His teary-eyed antics could cost us a game 7, get him the heck away from a team of this quality. The Pistons don't matter anymore, he can go.

You mean better than best record in the league?

I dont think we still have the best record in the league, do we? And, yes, better then the record we currently have. BBD is a quality player and if playing with emotion is a bad thing then someone better tell KG cause he's always playing with a lot. You watch this team after BBD gets back and hits his stride and see if his play and the teams success don't correlate and then if they don't you can say what you want.

BBD will certainly help.  However, there may be merit in a trade.
Scalabrine looks better without his facial hair.  However, he is not able to slash.  He is not a threat to drive.  Which makes him a liability since he plays with Eddie who is also a perimeter player.  Sheldon Williams is providing quality minutes.
Still the Celtics could use a slasher on the second unit.  Someone who can create his own shot.

The best thing about Davis coming back is that hopefully we will hardly ever have to see Scalabrine on the court again.

I'm not for trading big baby, but I can't say I'm against him either. If a trade of Baby will upgrade our roster, then heck, I'll do it sure.

Do we need a player of Baby's caliber? Sure. Will I be heartbroken if he leaves and a better player comes back in return? Nope.

Regardless of what anybody thinks of BBD overall, I think there is no doubt he would have helped us in a game like last night's debacle.  The things we needed last night are things he brings to the team...those being a flexible big that can play 4 or 5 and some intensity.  I love Sheldon's hustle and all, but intensity is not Sheldon.

Well said. I like what Williams has done but having one more true impact guy off the bench could be huge for this team.

Clearly Baby would have helped with Sheed getting himself tossed.  I'm certainly willing to see if he can come back and make a contribution.
