Sure, in a vaccum, I'd love this guy coming off the bench for us.

However, in reality, it'll cost us an arm and a leg and I'm not willing to give up multiple assets to get him.

agreed. butler would help any team, but especially the aging celtics. he would come close to replacing pierce in terms of scoring and filling up the stat sheet. (i am not saying he is as good, but he is good.)

however, i do not see how the current celtic team can get butler. are the wizards about to enter the "blow it up and rebuild" zone? if so, then maybe they will take ray allen's contract.

but i doubt it.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Considering how Miller has been hurt, and Caron has been playing awful I'd be extremely nervous about making such a trade.

Especially given how much Ray's ability to shoot off of screens and otherwise space the floor opens up opportunities for the rest of the team. Caron duplicates Pierce in a lot of ways.

TP agreed.  One thing that makes the C's big three so successful is that all three of them compliment the others games.  Ray spaces the floor so Pierce can drive, when Pierce drives he draws in defenders which opens up jumpers for KG....thats one good example.

I think we need to stay on that same track.

I like that but the Wizards won't dump Bulter they would trade Jamision he's in his 30's. They are considering Miller, Bulter and Jamision. they are all around 10 mil.
