Great game. Starters played good.

Is there any doubt Rondo is quickly becoming a star in this league!!

To be honest, the starters closed out the game like championship teams do, but they could've avoided that if they had started off the 3rd better. We had the Wizards reeling at that point, and we let them back in it, and nearly let them off the hook altogether.

Other than that, Rondo definitely is looking like an All-Star.

Rondo NO STEALS!!...there goes that streak. I thought that was stupid anyway. Getting a lot of those steals from gambling too much on defense and we don't need that. On another note TA led the team in+/- with a +14, kid's gonna be a star

I like TA (definitely in the minority here) and always like when he has solid games. He was the key difference tonight as no one else on the bench did anything.
Oh come on both of you!!

+/- is the worst stat they keep in the NBA. You can be the worst player in the league playing with four other stars playing out of their minds and end up with a great +/-. Tony's +?- had more to do with who he was playing with and who he was playing against, than the job he did.

Heck, Rondo was a -7 tonight. Yeah, he sucks. 21 points 11 assists 1 turnover. bench him and start Tony. Tony was a +14.  ::) ::) ::)

Stupid stupid stat.

Also, the bench played real well. And that means everyone on the bench. Not just Tony.

I just hope we can get you to kick your hate of TA by the end of the year.  :D

Rondo's steals help fuel our teams easy baskets, it's part of our defense.

Good Point. the -/+ is a good thing in theory, but doesn't make sense in this case. I guess all it means in this game is that for the time that TA was in the game, his productivity was very good? But even in that sense it's confusing. We simply lose this game if Rondo didn't play like he did..

I think Rondo probably allows 1 easy basket for every 2 of those steal attempts. Check out his stats against scoring pgs that can get into the lane. Chris Paul, Arenas, Parker...he never holds them below 15 points.

I gave Tony love. I said the whole bench played well and didn't single him out for his bad fouls or horrible brain dead turnovers. ;D

See how I turned that compliment into a little more Tony hate? Sorry, it's just in my DNA now.

Seriously though, Tony had a great first half and a bad second half but overall productive performance.

Anyone watching this Utah-Orlando game?

How has this Utah team won 12 games. They are awful defensively. I've seen four of their losses(if they lose tonight) and defensively, in each, they are just bad.

This Orlando team is dumb. Howard was dominating and was wide open on many occasions late during that second quarter and they're jacking up bad, bad three pointers.

Give the big man the ball, the shorties on Utah are too busy with their skirts to try to guard The Man!!

After that stupid Carter three from 27 feet with 18 seconds left on the clock Howard started walking up and don the court. He was p.oed.

They just can't shoot, so they're spacing is suspect often times.

I can't believe Orlando is playing so bad in the second half though.

Carter is just refusing to allow the Magic to go down low. He's constantly chucking it from deep or calling on howard to come set high screens for him.
