You know things are going well when you win a game like this. That second half was brutal and they got nothing from Pierce and Perk and other than TA, the bench was brutal.

Rajon Rondo: 21 points, 11 assists and a single turnover. Nice.

Great game. Starters played good.

Is there any doubt Rondo is quickly becoming a star in this league!!

Rondo was definitely a star on offense tonight, but on D it was another story. Areans totally neutralized Rajon, scoring 23 points.

Whew...nine in a row the hard way...TA came through. Without his points we lose.

Arenas was relentless going to the rim. Sam Cassell was in ear his all night (attack Rondo, attack Rondo). Great game by Rondo overall.

Rondo NO STEALS!!...there goes that streak. I thought that was stupid anyway. Getting a lot of those steals from gambling too much on defense and we don't need that. On another note TA led the team in+/- with a +14, kid's gonna be a star

I like TA (definitely in the minority here) and always like when he has solid games. He was the key difference tonight as no one else on the bench did anything.

You know, I was really encouraged by KG early on.  I think that while he's still not all the way back, the fire and enthusiasm showed itself in the first half.  Didn't see as much of that in the second, which obviously became a struggle.  Thanks (Double) Agent Zero!

Rondo held Arenas to 2.6 points over his 20.4 point average by making him take 23 shots and 6 free throws.

Arenas held Rondo to 21 points just 10 points over his average.

You say Arenas neutralized Rondo. I say Rondo wins that match up big time because he got so much more of what was expected out of him on average. For all his warts, Arenas is still a superstar scorer in this league.

It was close and Rondo was great on offense, but I believe he also took 20 shots tonight. I'll call it a draw, but C's won, so who cares.  ;D

Oh come on both of you!!

+/- is the worst stat they keep in the NBA. You can be the worst player in the league playing with four other stars playing out of their minds and end up with a great +/-. Tony's +?- had more to do with who he was playing with and who he was playing against, than the job he did.

Heck, Rondo was a -7 tonight. Yeah, he sucks. 21 points 11 assists 1 turnover. bench him and start Tony. Tony was a +14.  ::) ::) ::)

Stupid stupid stat.

Also, the bench played real well. And that means everyone on the bench. Not just Tony.
