hate or love him he worked hard for his spotlight and how he acts in it is up to him...i hated how they use to do that sideline shows..very disrespectful..im not a lebron fan but like kobe i worry more about how we handle them when we ball against them..all that other stuff is drama

     i'm gonna say a woman will never ever play in the nba. does that make me sexist? come on. lebron did nothing wrong here. it's never his fault that he gets preferential treatment.
     I agree that his act is a little babyish at times but i also think the guy gets fouled going to the hoop a lot with body and it's not called. I think it averages out w/other horrible touch fouls though. I also find it shocking that he averaged less than 2 fouls. that's pretty messed up. again, though, not his fault.

you are missing a few things:

1. His commercials are EXTREMELY unfunny and overplayed
2. His crab dribble
3. He wore a Yankees cap to a CLEVELAND Indians game while they were playing the yankees in the playoffs!
4. The media refuses to say anything bad about him
5. He comments on leaving the Cavaliers DURING THE SEASON
6. He draws attention to himself by saying that he's going to change his number out of his "love" for MJ. How about Bill Russell, LeBron? All he did was win 11 championships in a timeperiod where he couldnt even go out to eat with his teammates because of his skin color. Only giving love to MJ just shows his lack of knowledge.
7. Was near the top of the league last year in minutes played yet averaged just under 2 fouls per game...how is that possible??!!
8. He whined to the media about how Mo Williams wasn't voted into the all star game and used his pull to get him voted in when their were so many better options
9. He whined about Big Z's minutes when he should of been more worried about his teams performance
10. He's over dramatic about getting hurt
11. After losing game 7 to the celtics in 2008, he seemed more worried about where his and paul pierces duel would go down in history
12. He basically said that he could never imagine a women player in the league while he's still there.
13. He copied MJ(KG too?) by throwing the powder in the air before the game

At this point, I don't see how any one can like LeBron James...

Thought of two more reasons:

1. He couldn't stand not being the center of attention so at all star weekend he got the cameras on him and announced he would be in next years contest...oh and did i mention he's not even going to compete in it now?

2. When Charles Barkley commented on LeBrons free agency situation he said that LeBron needs to focus on the cavaliers and winning a title before he even thinks about commenting on 2010. LeBrons response was, "Charles is dumb. That's all i have to say about that." Really, LeBron. What grade is this??

I was a huge LeBron fan from about 2003 to 2007 (I even have the jersey to prove it) but he just got WAYYY to full of himself and started acting like a complete bafoon.

I know LeBron can't be perfect but he's just done and said wayyyy too many bone head things and the worst part is that the media has NEVER called him out on any of these things. It's like they're trying to protect the "golden boy." It just makes me sick.

Well, at least the "Muppet Show" they had for Lebron and Kobe last year did not come to fruition, lol..it seemed like everywhere I turned I saw this commercial during the playoffs.

Maybe this year they'll come up with a P2, KG and Ray muppet.

I may be reeducated, eyes taped open forced to watch hours and hours of Lebron hype media while David Stern dances to Flight of the Valkyries behind me, a blue ink 'where caring happens' tattoo across my chest and a Lakers cap stapled to my head.  The only way to know will be to ask me how many steps travelling is in a week.  If I say '1 more than Dwyane Wade just took' then you know he got to me.

I agree.  I think this Lebron hate is mostly sour grapes.  If he was dancing in a Celtics uniform, we would all absolutely love him. 

I never quite understood that side of fanhood.  I have always felt that it is much more rewarding to focus on how good your team is (or for that matter, how bad they are, and trying to find ways to fix them), than focusing on nit-picky things of other teams.  It is like the whole "Yankees suck" chant.  That is cool when the Sox are playing the Yankees.  However, when I am leaving the Garden in the middle of February, and someone starts up a Yankees suck chant, it just makes me sad as fan, that the Yankees are that much in other fans heads.

Love him, absolutely. Love the dancing, and the constant reminders FA before this year not so much.

I do think its overblown though. Roy Hobbs quote from the whole "retire 23" thing though sums up why I'm not a huge fan of LeBron.

Come on though, the C's are some of the worst sports I have ever seen.  Is dancing on the court that much worse than KG cussing out players on the other team, when they are up by 30?  Or for that matter, cussing out the other team, as he sits on the bench in a suit?

This is entertainment.  Sportsmanship and class is really pretty much out the window when everyone is making millions of dollars.  Lets face it, almost none of these guys have "class"...at least by the classic definition.

See my point? Dancing isn't censored because it's not as bad a thing as expletives. Dancing is foul language made proper. It's (in my opinion) a lot better, and I wish people would do more dancing and less cussing.

Certainly most teams taunt in ways that'd draw a T in high school. I don't really see the equivalency though. As for KG cussing, not the best behavior either.

And he does it when we're down by 20, up by 20, or tied. I bet he curses in practice too...
