he guys.

i was wondering if the C's management is interested in trading for Gerald Wallace.
i saw many game threads regarding Nocioni, but i like Wallace better.

the guys can score and play solid D.

This would only be realistic i think when the Bobcats are out of playoff contention

I think he'd be a nice addition....he would need a lot of touches, though.

And would he be able to come off of bench?

i dont see why he wouldn't, he has been in the league for a long time. i think he would be willing to come of the bench for a contender.
i just don't know what it would take to obtain him. would it be much more than Nocioni?

plus, he played really well against Lebron last night. i think with his size and athletic ability, he can guard anybody at SG or SF.  he can even come of the bench as a PF to guard Rashard Lewis when we play orlando

Gerald Wallace....that boy can play. And since the Bobcats added Stephen Jackson alongside him the pair of them have been playing great basketball. It took a few games to adjust but since then the pair has led that once horrible Charlotte team to three straight wins over Indiana, Toronto and Cleveland.

That Wallace/Jackson pairing looks like a brilliant move.

Of course, for those that followed this summer's CB NBA Draft, I just want to say I am not prejudiced in any way whatsoever. Just making an objective observation.  ;D

Oh yeah I would definitely pick him over Nocioni...I think he wouldn't mind coming onboard for a contender as well. And he is young (only 27-28, right)?

It would probably take a lot to get him, though.

i LOVE wallace's game, but i dont think we could get him without including an important piece of our team.  with the jackson move, i dont think they would trade him for some expiring contracts and end of the bench guys.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

I would trade Ray Allen for Gerald Wallace and Boris Diaw. I might even throw in BBD. Pierce woould move back to sg.

Saves Charlotte alot of $$$$.

I'm sorry, but I had to include my drunk tweet/facebook update from last night:

"my boy Gerald Wallace swatted lebron tonight, celtics please trade fr th guy"

I love Gerald and I'm glad that he's getting some attention.  He was the last player to average 2/2 blocks/steals per game in something like 20 years.  He is my favorite non-celtic besides wade.  To get Gerald instead of Nocioni makes a ton of sense because he could potentially be a starter after the big three are gone instead of an expiring contract/role player.

I agree that it would take a lot more to net Wallace than the package proposed for Adres, but I would try to get really creative to get this one done without sacrificing our core or new bench guys=sheed+quissy.  Can you imagine a Gerald and Quissy slashing together?  That would be scary offense and D.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

Solid D????!!!!
That guy is a monster on D, I remember that he was the only player to average 2+ block and steals per game. that's insane D for an undersized player. He is one of my favorite players in the game and I don't think that Bobcats are willing to give him up for scraps.
I would love Wallace-Ray trade at the end of the season

Let's not forget his rebounding. He led all SF's in rebounding last year. That's right, more than that guy from Cleveland that he outplayed last night.

Ahhhh, if the Boxers were only allowed to face the Magic in the CB NBA playoffs. LeBron would have gone down. Just like last night.

haha. sorry for the understatement.

i was just thinking that we could be a great team with him.
i mean we can use him to guard kobe, lebron, and rashard lewis. we usually have problems with the atlanta. i think his athletic ability would even help us out a lot against fast teams like atlanta and the suns
