Sheed's 3 point shooting, along with Eddie's for that matter, allow Daniels to get shots down in the paint and us to create mismatches. Their big has to come out and defend him which opens up the middle. Ray and PP are able to penetrate easier when they are in with the second unit, Williams often gets a better matchup down low with the PF verus the center. Sure Sheed went through a cold stretch there for awhile as does any outside shooter. (House and Ray had long ones as well) He has hit some big ones though that have helped blow open games and he will likely hit many of those in the playoffs. Considering the guy also is a tough inside defender I am absolutely thrilled with what he has given us. Last year we had BBD, Mikki, and Powe off the bench at the big spot. Now we have Sheed, Williams, and someday BBD. That is a HUGE upgrade. The guy definitely makes us better no matter how his offensive points come.
