What we are in need of is in Miami
So far watching the first handful of games, I think its clear, that we could use an athletic wing.
Marquis is a very good player, and versatile, but he does not possess the athleticism that is seen in a lot of wings in the league. (the flexibility and fluidity in movement, Quis is a more stiff form of athletic...and this is not a dis at Quis, its just not the kind of player he is.
(the flexible athleticism player are players like, ex. (ariza, outlaw, kirilenko, pietrus, etc.)
(then you have your superfreaks, josh smith, lebron, jamario moon, iggy, etc.)
I think we could use a young athletic wing, and also, to help reduce the mins. for Ray and Paul.
This trade works: TONY ALLEN and JR GIDDENS.....to Miami....for DORRELL WRIGHT
I believe Tony straight up works also.
Bringing in Wright, would give us a young (flexible) athletic wing 6'9", championship exp., and still only 23 yrs old...same as Rondo.
Wright might be the only player who, wont disrupt Doc's rotation in a major way, unlike brining in an Allen Iverson or recently rumored Nocioni.
With the other young teams, with a lot of athletic wings we will see throughout the season and most likely see in the post season, I think it would be very useful to have at least 1 or 2 athletic young players to combat defensively: the orlando's with (pietrius, barnes, vc, etc.) Atlanta's(josh smith, jamall crawford, etc.) Wizards(butler, stevenson, miller, jamison, etc.)
