I'm trying to find out here if 10 in 5:38 is a record or not, that is the purpose of the thread for me.

It's only 9 , one of the 10 calls you keep citing was a defensive 3 seconds, not a PF.  So if 10 is the record, it wasn't from Friday.

Take a TP.  Irrational or not, at least you have a sense of humor about it.

Hey they have it as this in the box score: 6:08 Pierce foul(defensive 3 seconds)

I'm not the one who made up the box score.

So what exactly is the explanation for it?
The explanations is obvious.

Lebron idolized Jordan. Even a fool would know that. Why do you think he chose #23 for his jersey? He is also too young to have seen Russell play.

The Celtics got call for 10 in a row because they play aggressive, physical defense, are prone to moving picks, and were playing a team with a lot of quick players.

If we were to flip a coin enough times, we would eventually get 10 heads in a row. Are you going to ask for an explanation for that?

How about "They got the call right".  Mass produce that and feed it to the public.   They will love it!!   Or how about just have Jay-Z make a single "They got the call right" and you can loop that sample over and over again for 4 minutes, I'm sure the public will be running to the bank to buy that one too!!
So after you heard that "statement", you went ahead and flipped a coin 10 times and it just happened to be that day it came up heads 10 times in a row, huh?  You are luckier than I am.

You never took statistics, did you....

smh so much right now. Not following my own advice.

Grim Fascination.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

How does 800 on your math SATS sound? Is that a record too.    Only 2 people in my HS got that, yes one of them was the guy riding passenger with Delonte.

at least you have a sense of humor about it.

I have a sense of humor about everything   :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::)=5:38

I'm taking a shower now.   How long will I be in there? I don't know.  5:38 should be enough.

You know, I think my TP count went up by 15 after that post...  ;D

You're asking people to search through every NBA game to look for a 6-minute stretch where calls were more lopsided.  Let's assume that this is even possible, to start - it probably isn't.  It would take days, maybe weeks, to come up with an answer for you.  Like I said, I'm nice, but not that nice.

Because normal-sized font apparently didn't get the point across...

Ahhh... the direction of this thread isnt what I had hoped, maybe when I come back to it tomorrow, it will retain its entertainment quality---- but until then, I am off to this thread:  http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=31248.0

In for a good laugh? I suggest all to revisit this gem!

Statistics aren't on the SAT.

What does the SAT have to do with statistics? Or critical thinking? Rain Man could do a lot of math.

You seem to have a problem determining what data is relevant evidence to a discussion. Work on that filter and the quality of your arguments would improve.

So if you don't find an example of more fouls in less minutes, why disagree? That's all.

I found the Answer! and it did not take me that long to find it.  But the record is more than 10 and in less time! could you believe that? I have the proof here at this link... go here and I think we can end this argument.  Again, this link just proves that it is more than 10 and in less time.

Onto the Evidence!
