Thank God those folks were in place to point out that she had fallen onto the tracks.

I remember those days of having too much fun..I thank God my buddies looked out for me or I wouldn't be here right now.

Saw this story on Channel 7 news and now am amazes to find out that one of the heroes of the day is one of our own. Fox 25 is leading their 10 o'clock newscast with the story so everyone who can watch it to see if we can see Colt45.

TP's to Celtic and Colt

Wow. What a story. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Your father is certainly a hero, as is the responsible train operator who, as perviously mentioned, was thankfully paying attention.

TP's for your dad for sure.

Holy nertz... that's my dad too.  I wouldn't have heard of this except Celtic sent me an xbox message.  I need to check my email more often.

I'll be sending my letter for 'heroes among us' tomorrow.  I hope other people might want to do the same.  My dad is a long time Celtics fan who is pretty heavily responsible for my love of the game.

A direct quote from my dad after my brother told him he got so many TPs:

Quote
I am sure that all the Tommy Points must be due to the fact that I was actually waving my Celitcs hat in an attempt to get the operator's attention.

Ladies and gentlemen, what a fan.

And what an amazing job by the T operator.  When you look at those pictures, this woman on the tracks was right by the end of the tunnel.  Not very good visibility for the T operator.  Good thing she was paying attention and had great reaction time.

Kudos to your dad and the operator. It's good to see a somewhat positive story coming out of the MBTA.

I hope he gets the hero among us.

I have to admit, I don't have much sympathy for drunken accidents, but it is a good story.

OMG that is a crazy story.  Good thing your dad was there to save the lady's live.    This is happening a lot though lately, people who are drunk or fall by accident are falling near the subways, they have to be careful, or they should be putting a guard rail up there.

TP's to Celtic and Colt45 and Shupac. This is really a great story. I'm living in Sydney right now and it literally just came on the news here so it's making pretty big headlines.

I might have to give some extra TP's to Colt45  for him ripping on Jemele Hill and for loving malt liquor

Crazy story! And frightening too, the subway was really close...

Great intervention by your fathers and the other passengers, they basically saved a life when the situation was really bad. TP for you and him.
