If you could pick 1 to be on this team, who would it be?

Why not let us pick JR Rider, or Qyntel Woods?

How emphatically can I vote, NEITHER?  We could have eleven players suffer season-ending injuries, and I'd rather play four-on-five than have either of these clowns on the C's.

OK, that might be a *little* harsh on that ol' Vasoline-eater, but still...   c'mon.

I wouldn't want either, either, roger, roger.  But if I HAD to take one it would be Marbury.  He's a nut and not very good anymore, but Iverson is just so very negative.  He's like a black cloud that destroys teams.

At least Marbury was willing to come off the bench, Iverson still for some reason thinks hes a starter in this league.  I dont even know why Memphis signed him, youre in the middle of a youth movement, all he brings is trouble.
do it

Attitude-wise, I wouldn't want either one, but when it comes to skills, AI blows Marbury away ... I mean, seriously, he's one of the NBA's all-time highest scorers. And Marbury did what, exactly?!?

Neither.

We gave a chance to Marbury last year and he didn't help much, even though Doc did his maximum for him to integrate and play despite his poor shooting.

Iverson would kill this team.

I don't want them anywhere close to Waltham

In Marbury's defense, he did nothing to disrupt the team last year. He accepted his role graciously.

The same cannot be said about AI.

Strychine vs arsenic.  You are just as dead either way.

Very true.  And he didn't have a problem sharing the ball or playing defense.

Still, being happy coming off the bench doesn't really mean much.  Iverson all the way.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I don't know what Marbury's deal was when he was here.. If we was playing at the level he should of been it would have been a huge boost, but he just couldn't get much of anything done. He looked real good in his first game here then just went downhill, didn't look for his shot or anything.

Then he just went crazy.

If AI would come and play 20 minutes here and not complain, I'd be real excited. He can still score and pass a little, that could come in handy. The chances of him not complaining though? Probably zero. Thus, I'm content with not having either Marbury or AI on the team.

Giving a cohesive team that choice is like asking somebody on death row if he wants to be hung or electrocuted.

As Bakhu said, AI is a much better player, but I wouldn't want either.
