I just can't for the life of me see where Rasheed Wallace deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Numbers wise he didn't score more than 16.4 PPG or grab more than 7.0 RPG until he was into his 6th year in the league. he hasn't scored more than 17 PPG or grabbed more than 8.1 RPG over his last 6 years in the league. He only really had 3 years his entire career that had All-Star type numbers.

Is he a special player with a special, very unique skill set? Not really. Not anymore. It used to be 7 footers that could be rugged and tough inside and could shoot well outside all the way out to three point land were a rare breed. But in his generation of player, there's been a lot of guys that are like that. Some much better at it than Rasheed(KG, Duncan, Dirk).

Lastly, for much of his early years in the league, Rasheed was a bit of a cancer both on the court and off. It wasn't until he got out of Portland that he started to show that he could be a catalyst to something more. A leader. An emotional charge rather than an emotional drain.

I just think, as someone said early and said much better than I did, Rasheed could have been special but decided not to be. For that reason, he is undeserving of the Hall of Fame, IMHO!!

He's been one of the worst rebounders in the league at the 4 and 5 positions for his entire career.  Mark Blount type rebounding numbers per minute.

He HAD all of the tools to be one of the best, but never became what he could have been. I look at him as a player that unlocked maybe 60% maybe 70% of the potential he had.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

He won't come near the HOF if you ask me...he only excels at career is the number of T's he got, everything else is just above average or average.
