Saints-Panthers game has been outstanding. Stupid trying for the pass there. Should have run a draw.

I love watching Mannings lose and it looks like Eli is going down for the fourth time with Phillip Rivers moving the Chargers 80 yards in 1:46 to throw the winning TD with 0:21 left on the clock.

Absolutely! TP for that ... I love it when the Mannings lose ... now I wish the jynx would work on Peyton.

Redskins lose again.....I'm sticking by them, though....if they win the rest of their games maybe they can get a wildcard spot (Not likely, but keep hope alive, huh?)

So jealous of Patriots..they have contended for last 9 years it seems.

Wish Philly would get a pick or a fumble here ... really don't want to see Romo with that you-know-what-eating grin on his face, and Jessica jumping like a bug on the sidelines. (Gag!)

Texans gave Indy a run for their money ... really wish they could have pulled it out ... their kicker makes an earlier one from 56, then misses at 42 ... ouch!

Great day of football ahead of us today.

Really looking forward to this Steelers-Bengals game.  Steelers seem to really be hitting their stride right now and this is a game for the Bengals to really legitimize themselves in the eyes of many.  Winning at Heinz would be huge.

Also have interest in the Eagles/Chargers game.  Chargers coming off that huge win against the Giants and the Eagles trying to bounce back after that loss to Dallas.

Of course, to me, these are all appetizers for the big one tonight with Pats-Indy.  The best rivalry going these days continues tonight.  Can't wait.

So far, a "grind 'em out" type of affair in Pittsburgh. I've been impressed with the Bengals defense so far.   They've been able to get pressure on Big Ben on several occasions and forcing him to check down.

Watching the Panthers/Falcons game - a very graphic, nasty injury - players leg was bent completely sideways at the knee ... you could see the knee separate from the tibia/fibula through his uniform ... hope there's not a lot of kids watching this.

Interesting bit of football so far this afternoon.
(1) Bengals beat Steelers, but overall a close game.
(2) Upset 1: Jets lose to Jacksonville (Hahaaa, as Nelson would say).
(3) Upset 2: Denver loses to Washington (ditto, Nelson)
(4) Near upsets: Miami and New Orleans dodge bullets.  New Orleans looks beatable (but, shhhhh).
Celtics fan for life.

Nice statement win by the Bengals.  I was thoroughly impressed by their defense today.  They got pressure on Big Ben most of the day and their secondary was extremely effective.
