I'd consider that, and I think about starting Quis and bringing Gilbert off the bench if he would do it. There's only one ball on the court, and I don't think there are enough touches to go around with Gilbert playing with the first unit. On the other hand, Gilbert could run the offense with the bench, where he'd humiliate any backup guard in the league. Also maybe, just maybe, that situation would keep him healthy.
Quis, on the other hand, has starting experience and is a good enough defender to hold his own against starting SG's. His unselfish style would play well on our offense. The only hitch could be that you have no jumpshot on both of your starting guards - one of them would have to take and make open jumpers to spread the floor a bit, and that may be too much to ask.
Interesting possibility, if nothing else.
