“I think the LA Lakers considering their team of Gasol, Kobe, Tru Warriar (sp? Does Artest care?), and considering their schedule, are really poised to challenge the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls’ record of 72 wins. Their schedule, their first 21 games, four of them are on the road…one against Okalahoma City…one against Houston…one against Denver. Ok, lets call that a loss…..one against Golden State…the Lakers should be 20-1 after their first 21 games. Should they win it all? Ummm..Well I think, if they’re all healthy, I like the Boston Celtics.”
I think Reggie's admitting that the East is the top to bottom tougher conference. We won't get the wins but we will get the title.

Soo... The Lakers are better than us, but we're going to win the championship?Ok, I'll take it.
While I agree with him about the C's winning it all, the Lakers will not have 70 wins. Bynum is going to get injured and Artest, while not being distracting enough to make the team crumble, will keep them from getting into 100% rhythm.
Obviously I'm hoping we (Lakers) win 70+... but I'm not gonna think about it til we're at 69 wins. It's more realistic next year after keeping this same team for a year, for now I just want to see how Artest plays with the rest of the team. And the Lakers will win the title of course.
