Of the choices you provided, I picked "Now, there's a steal by Bird!!!", but my all time favorite Celtic playoff game was Game 7, 1981 ECF vs Sixers, when we had come back from a 3 games to 1 deficit.

Can't go wrong with any of them, though.

i have to go with one i was alive for even though i know, Hondo steals, Bird steals, and gerald henderson steals are all among the greatest in league history

i'll go with game 4 of 08 finals, even though i was at the Nets comeback...08 led to a ring, which will be remembered forever

Game Six against the Lakers. Everyone played well and some records were tied and broken. Not to meantion it was the first time we won in over 20 years and gave a new generation of fans a taste of the that Celtics tradition first hand.

Of the two I actually watched, I'd say the comeback in Game 4 of the Finals was the best.

I know it's probably not 'the best' playoff game but I gotta go with game 6 against the Lakers in 08. Man, I waited a long time to see the Lackers get wooped that bad. Indicidentally, will someone watch the 7 minute clip of Bird-Wilkins and tell me that truly great players dont, on average, win more titles then lesser players. That was a recent thread debate on this site.

Going against you all, but I gotta go with 2002 Game 3 against the Nets; C's came back from 24 down to START the 4th quarter.  My boys and I were at this game and I have never seen the "FleetCenter" this bumping.  Pierce jumping up on the media table and people were literally tearing tiles out of ceiling in the balcony and tossing them.

"Bird steals it" gets my vote, but not just because of the incredible finish. It was a game that featured several unique plays, a see-saw fourth quarter and Parish decking Laimbeer.  How can that not win?

The Nets comeback was incredible, but the game itself (especially the first three quarters was AWFUL). Even the comeback was scrappy (a ton of free throws) rather than great to watch. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVED it).  On the other hand, the Lakers comeback was compelling from start to finish and even had a thrilling finish.

You almost nailed the top five (assuming it's restricted to games most of us have seen!), but I'd have to put the decider against the Pacers in 1991 up there.  That was another game that had everything (and I loved that team).

Yeah, Parrish decking Laimbeer was great wasnt it. I remember when the C's were playing one year before the Super Bowl and there was that halftime ceremonly for someone, I guess Parrish, and Red was talking. He said there was only one time that he was ever mad at Robert Parrish and it was that game. And, he said the only reason he was mad at him was becaue Laimbeer got up after being decked!

-Game 7 in 1969 @LAL (Russell's last game)
-Game 2 in 1984 Finals (Henderson steals the ball)
-Game 4 in 1984 Finals @LAL (Bird seals OT win in HUGE game 4)
-Game 7 in 1984 Finals (Epic finish to an epic series)
-Game 5 2002 first round clincher vs. Sixers (Pierce, Walker go on 3Pt. barrage to dominate AI, Sixers)
-The ENTIRE first round from last year vs. Bulls
-Game 7 vs. Cleveland in 2008 (Pierce/LeBron = Nique/Bird part 2)

Those are off the top of my head, but solid thread.

Too many classics to choose one game, but I have great memories of the 2002 comeback against the Nets because I was camping in vermont with friends and there were like 10 of us crowded around a 5 inch black and white portable tv watching/listening to it.

I will say that my favorite playoff moment (of the past two seasons, not counting when we finished off the Lakers) was when KG clocked Zaza in game 7 of the first round.  I had been waiting for that the whole series!
