I was relieved to hear KG state that he was ahead on the schedule of his rehab in early July, at Rasheed's introduction to the team.
But the fact is we haven't seen KG play ever since he got his surgery and I'm starting to get worried. I'm usually optimistic and I still think that KG will be fine this season, but still... listening to Bill Simmons' latest podcast with Chad Ford and claiming that he was really concerned about KG's knee bugged me because he is right, we know nothing about Garnett's health except what he said (and I tend to believe him but "ahead of the schedule" is quite vague...).
The only footage of KG training after his surgery is watchable in the following video, at the 0:53 mark :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDnVHehxKIYAnd here is Paul's quote about KG : "He's looking pretty good. He didn't play... but he's out there doing slides, the weights, he's on the treadmill. It's almost like having a new acquisition."
What do you think? Should we worry that KG hasn't played yet?
He looked slow on this video... and that makes my concerns grow.
Edit : Also, I forgot the fact that the team basically signed 3 new power forwards during the summer could be a bad sign about KG's knee... or maybe it's just overreaction and overthinking but it was a point discussed in the podcast and it worried me too.
