One of the subtly most important days in the history of college football happening today. Too many good teams playing for there not to be a single upset.
Things that could happen
Texas and Bama both lose theoretically making TCU #2. In that case the BCS would have some splainin to do in a historic sort of way. It would somewhat cement the BCS reputation as either corrupt or not so corrupt system that can work.
Cincy goes to a BCS bowl game
Nebraska finally makes it back to major status after about a decade away
Texas gets some revenge and gets themselves in the championship game or takes a big step down
Bama goes back to National Championship game
Florida goes back to National Championship game and makes it 3 of 4 years cementing itself as a dynasty
Houston wins CUSA throwing another small pebble at the BCS
East Carolina beats Houston giving the BCS one more bullet of ammo and credibility
Tebow wins himself another Heisman cementing himself as a top 10 college football player in history
Mark Ingram wins himself a Heisman becoming I believe the only Bama player ever with a Heisman (can you believe that?)
It started last night with Oregon breaking what seems like a decade long PAC TEN BCS/Rose Bowl monopoly by USC
Case Keenum has a hell of a day maaaayyyybbbeee getting himself a Heisman taking the trophy to a non-BCS school (and the 2nd for Houston I think.)
Who would have ever thought the three best football teams in Texas in order would be Texas, TCU, Houston (or by the end of the day TCU, Texas, Houston)?
