Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Cleveland and Boston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Cleveland and Boston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Wait... You do know we can't force the Cavs to do a deal with us right? I mean both teams do have to agree for a trade to go down.  ;D

That's too much for us to give up!  I mean what happens if the league finally allows the long-rumored rule of allowing teams to play 8 players at shooting guard at once if you give up your starting shooting guard for them?

How could they hate Delonte? I used to love watching him block every shot in sight. Those types of hard headed plays never got old. If they really don't want him, I'd gladly take him back.

It's weird.. Ryan Gomes and Delonte West would be perfect fits for this team. I guess that's the price you gotta pay to get Ray and KG. I still think we could have kept Gomes, though. I miss that kid.

No thanks. I never ever liked Delonte West and am extremely happy with the way things turned out. We don't need any players back that remind us of our 24-58 loss season.

Does that mean we should get rid of Pierce, Rondo, Perk, Scal and TA?  I think most of us would say no to at least the 1st three...
