I would much rather have Delonte playing for us than Cleveland.

TP for Edgar for proposing that one-in-a-million Celticsblog trade that doesn't include Scalabrine.

What , u dont like it?  :'(
Lets see we trade for an injury prone short combo guard who has been known to turn the ball over oh yeah he also has depression issues and police/gun problems.  I like Delonte but I think giddens or walker will prove to be nba players and help us.  I think eddie will do just fine as backup pg.  All we need is someone else to bring the ball over 1/2 court when pressure is applied (ray allen, daniels etc)

So...  you'd rather have one guy who's proven in six years that he's not a reliable NBA player, two young guys who were low draft picks, were not ready to contribute at all last year, and OK but unexceptional in Summer League...  you'd rather have that collection of guys than a player who's clearly got some internal issues, but has been Cleveland's second-best player when the games have counted?  A guy who would fill in our needs for a backup PG, could play alongside Eddie House just fine (plays alongside Mo Williams right now), a guy who can shoot and play D and who busts his balls off every time he's on the court?

You'd rather have TA and the pups than Delonte?  Really?  REALLY?
