Welcome to the league Hpantazo! Battier swings this deal in Hate's favor. Varejao should get all of the minutes he can handle this season, but I doubt that translates to a significant scoring increase. Meanwhile, with both Martin and Andersen rehabbing, Harrington is going to get a lot of looks in Denver.

(Then again any Carmelo Anthony trade could turn this deal on its head.)

Haha....it's all good TWW. Ubuntu Y'all/Gainesville Celtics are my 2 teams (in the Points/H2H league respectively). I thought of changing to the same name to cut down on confusion, but UY is my slogan, GC my board name.

Anyways, Hptanazo is a welcome addition to the league!

I see these guys as having significant upside (either b/c of new situation, playing time, overcomng injury,etc), so i'm not gonna give them away for last year's production --- but would welcome a package deal of a couple of them for 1 player.

thanks for the feedback guys, great to see people so involved in the league. I agree with the scoring potential of Harrington, but I just don't see him or Battier getting enough pt for a full season, maybe I'm wrong. Verajao on the other hand will play a ton this year.  I'm still working on a couple of other deals so hopefully I will reshape this roster to look more like something I would put together.

OK.  I was in talks with Birdman about Nash.  I believe this is a good and pretty fair deal anyway.  

Hpantazo got the best player in the deal right now in Nash.  Aldridge is a close 2nd though... Jameer will put up decent numbers for as long as he is the Magic's PG and if he can stay healthy.  JR is a trick or treat player - not one of my favs.   Green could contribute being a vet on a pretty young team.  

Overall, I think Birdman did slightly better whereas he got slightly less talent right now, but more youth and the possibility of getting the most talent by year's end.  Good trade guys.  Sorry I couldn't get in on it!

Points wise it's an even trade. Personally, I would not have traded Aldridge even for Nash. All in all a good trade and I like the action.
